American Association, 37-02 Astoria Blvd, Astoria, NY...(718-956-7959).charging $199 for bartending training & job placement, claim to offer certification that is "accepted everywhere in U.S.", a "bartending license" that they claim is "issued by New York State".....claim that  they are licensed to train by "Dept of Consumer Affairs", according to person answering the telephone....................ALSO,  "American Bar Associates" 31st street btwn Park & Madison Avenue in Manhattan, (212)683-6133, person answering the phone identifying himself as "Rick" states that he is licensed by DCA to train and give N.Y. State certification to bartenders which will be recognized nationally, for a "fee" of $295, with job placement.  These places placed ads in the New York Daily News "help wanted" section on 11/1/06, the first under the heading "Bar Employment", the second under "All Bar Jobs"
